Amsterdam-Noord is a raw and industrial district that has evolved in recent years into a vibrant hub of creativity and innovation. With its mix of trendy restaurants and bars, artistic hotspots, and dynamic atmosphere, it attracts both locals and international visitors.

What are the facilities of The Cave?
- Sleeps up to 12 guests

- Private bar & Heineken draft: The Cave features a private bar with a Heineken draft tap. You can pre-order 20L kegs (around 80 beers per keg) so everything is ready when you arrive.
- Stocked fridge (mini-bar system) with a curated selection of drinks, soft drinks and snacks. You only pay for what you use, so you can start enjoying right away without any hassle.
What are the house rules?
- Respect the neighbourhood. Loud outdoor noise after 23:00 is not allowed.
- The After-Party Room in Maison Glamsterdam is the only exception for late-night fun.
- No smoking inside, only on terraces or rooftops.
- No pets allowed.
- Only registered guests can stay overnight.
- Any damage will be deducted from the deposit.
- CCTV is used at exterior entries only (for safety).
- No Open Flames Policy: for safety reasons, open flames are not allowed anywhere on the property. This includes candles, tea lights, incense, fireworks or any other flame sources. The house is styled with LED candles and ambient lighting for a safe and beautiful atmosphere.
- Confetti and glitter are not allowed, as they require extensive additional cleaning. Any use may result in an additional cleaning fee deducted from the security deposit.

Where is The Cave located and how do we get there?
The Cave is located at Kropaarstraat 9, 1032 AL Amsterdam, in the vibrant district of Amsterdam-Noord. Once a raw industrial area, Amsterdam-Noord has evolved into a hub of creativity, with trendy restaurants, bars, art studios, and music venues just minutes away. It’s the perfect base for groups who want to experience the city’s energy while enjoying a private, stylish house.
Getting there is easy:
- By car: The Cave includes 2 private parking spots; additional on-street parking is available (paid during certain hours).
- By public transport: Take the ferry to Central Station (5 minutes) and reach The Cave in around 10 minutes. The North/South Metro line is also nearby (5 minutes).
- From the airport: Schiphol Airport is approximately 20 minutes away by car, and private transfers can be arranged for your group.
The location puts you within walking distance of local cafés, bars, and attractions, making it simple to enjoy Amsterdam while staying in a fully private and comfortable group accommodation.
How about cleaning & deposit at The Cave?
- Cleaning is charged per stay: €295
- Refundable deposit: €1,200 per booking
We require a refundable security deposit of €1,200 for each stay.
The deposit must be paid before or at check-in and can be settled by credit card, debit card or bank transfer. After check-out, the house will be inspected and the deposit will be refunded within 24-48 hours, provided no damages, missing items or additional consumption have occurred.
If items from the fridge or bar have been consumed, or if any damages are identified, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the deposit before the remaining balance is returned.
As the house is fully custom designed and finished to a high-end standard, a security deposit is standard practice for premium group accommodations.
